The conclusion of the activities of the National Forum for Humanitarian Work

Abu Dhabi, March 29 / WAM / The activities of the National Forum for Medical Humanitarian Work, which spanned throughout the holy month of Ramadan and was organized in all emirates of the state, with the participation of the first line of defense from workers in the health sector in government and private hospitals, with the aim of enhancing the culture of humanitarian work and community giving and the rehabilitation of a generation of leaders in the field of humanitarian medical work in accordance with the best international standards and the Emirates program.
The forum organized in cooperation between “Emirates Doctors” and “National Program for Recitations and Medical Response (Reader) and” National Training (Training) “, under the supervision of the Emirati volunteer medical teams and with the approval of the” Emirates Academy for Volunteering “.

The forum witnessed a set of scientific and practical activities, which included scientific lectures, training courses, workshops and practical exercises in residential neighborhoods and labor complexes in an innovative and unprecedented step to train the first line of defense in humanitarian community medicine, and witnessed the graduation of a new batch of young humanitarian leaders who passed internationally accredited training programs and local and international community practical exercises.

The forum comes under the slogan “For you, O Watan … in the footsteps of Zayed Al -Khair”, believing in the values ​​of giving and humanity that the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “God bless him,” instilled, and which the people of the homeland are still publishing locally and internationally.
Dr. Adel Al -Shamri Al -Ajmi, CEO of the “Zayed Al -Ataa” initiative and head of “Emirates Doctors”, stressed that the forum aims to qualify young medical leaders and raise their readiness to respond to community emergencies.
He explained that the forum includes specialized training programs such as “the first societal response course” and “the humanitarian leadership course”, in addition to simulating a field response to health emergencies in real residential environments, which helps in preparing a new generation of medical leaders capable of working in various emergency cases.
He pointed out that the forum sought to instill the spirit of initiative and giving in the hearts of young people by involving them in field projects that reflect societal cohesion and enhance the concepts of “the return of the favor to the homeland”.
Participants were trained in managing and organizing health campaigns for early detection of heart and chronic diseases and operating mobile clinics and moving hospitals, an innovative initiative from “Emirates Doctors”, which has achieved great success for 25 years.

Dr. Noura Al -Kindi, one of the young humanitarian leaders, confirmed that the forum contributed to the rehabilitation of more than 200 young leaders in the medical sector of various nationalities and the construction of a national network of young volunteers who are able to intervene rapidly in health crises within a national vision that focuses on prevention and effective response in local communities.

She pointed out that the “Emirates Reading and Medical Response Program” succeeded in building the capabilities of more than 20 thousand workers in the health sector through specialized training programs in emergency, intensive care and surgery, which contributed to the development of the medical sector in the country and provide the best medical services to society.
Participants in the forum stressed the importance of adopting such health and medical initiatives that enhance the state’s readiness in facing health and societal crises, achieve national cohesion, and embody the values ​​of giving and humanity in Emirati society.
