"Prevention and safety" In Sharjah, it launches an initiative "A paramedic in every home"

Sharjah, April 2 / WAM / Sharjah Safety and Safety Authority launched the “A paramedic in every home” in the context of its ongoing efforts to support the “Sharjah pioneer” program, and to achieve its vision in building a safe society free from dangers.

The initiative, which aims to meet the needs of the advanced age group in various circumstances, included three training workshops in cooperation with the national aid on the basic first aid of the elderly companions, in order to deal with emergency situations in homes or during the movement.

28 trainees of government agencies in Sharjah were granted the first aid license approved by the National Aid, which enhances their ability to help the elderly in their daily lives.

Sheikh Saif bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Director of the Authority, explained that these workshops reflect the commitment of the authority to enhance the culture of prevention and safety, and support the vision of the Sharjah government in achieving a safe environment for all members of society.

He pointed out that the initiative comes in conjunction with the “Year of Society” to enhance social ties, by preparing the escort of the elderly with knowledge and the ability to act in emergency situations, which guarantees their safety and enhances society’s ability to live safely.
