Life stood up.

No aid has entered Gaza since March 2025 – the longest suspension of humanitarian aid since October 7, 2023 – and only enough food remains for a few days.

Women in Gaza face a serious threat to their lives, health and dignity, as the exhausted inhabitants live without any opportunity to rest from war and destruction. Pregnant women are particularly dangerous – 50 percent of them face a highly dangerous pregnancy, while malnutrition is spread among women and children.

In the last days of the blessed month of Ramadan, the United Nations Women has spoken with women in Gaza, where they report unbearable horror:

“Where do we go? Hayam, Al -Marj, Rafah, Gaza.

“From 2 in the morning, and the fiery belts covered the sky, every 10 minutes a blow occurs- Hanin, Deir Al -Balah, central Gaza.

“2:30 am, we were preparing the suhoor, and suddenly we heard the screaming of women and children.”Souad, Khan Yunis, Gaza.

About 1,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since the Israeli bombing resumed on March 18. Eight women were killed every hour due to the air strikes on March 18, between 2:10 am and 12 noon. This attack is considered among the most bloody since October 7, 2023.

The United Nations Women renews its affirmation of the invitation of the Secretary -General of the United Nations to respect the ceasefire, ensure humanitarian aid to all needy, and the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages. She stressed the need to adhere to international law at all times.
