38.4 percent of Japan’s oil imports during February from the Emirates

Tokyo on April 5 / WAM / Japan’s total oil imports from the Emirates reached 25.8 million barrels in February 2025, representing 38.4% of total imports, according to the Natural Resources and Energy Agency of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Japanese Industry.

In February, Japan imported 67.3 million barrels, the percentage of Arab oil, including 97.3%, equivalent to 65.48 million barrels, showing the importance of Arab countries in Japanese energy security.
