Barham reviews the challenges of Palestinian education at an international conference in Egypt

& nbsp; Palestinian Minister of Education and Higher Education, Amjad Barham, participated today, Wednesday, in the activities of the seventh international conference organized by the International Education Foundation & quot; In Cairo, under the title: & quot; education in conflict areas – challenges and solutions & quot;

and reviewed their Barham, in his speech, the extent of the destruction that caused the education sector in Gaza as a result of the last aggression, where more than 95% of schools were destroyed, which led to depriving more than 720,000 students from education; Stressing that the ministry continued education remotely through virtual schools despite the challenges. Barham called on the international community to provide support to protect education in Palestine; Appreciating the work of the ministry’s crews and providing alternatives despite the difficulties. The conference discussed ways to improve education in countries affected by conflicts, including raising education budgets to ensure the sustainability of educational institutions. The conference was attended by many prominent figures from Palestine and Egypt, including the captain of the teachers Khalaf Al -Zanati, and the Secretary -General of the Palestinian Teachers Union, the prevailing of Azardat.
