Jordan and Iraq .. I do not like bias to a party at another expense

Al -Jazira coach, Moroccan Hussein Amouta, refused to deny or confirm the authenticity of the news circulating about the Iraqi team’s desire to take over the training of “Mesopotamia”, in respect of his contract with “Abu Dhabi’s pride” that extends until the end of next season.
And Iraqi media reports had confirmed earlier that Amouta is the first option to train the Iraqi team, succeeding Spain’s Sagius Casas, “the article” after the loss of the Palestinian team 1-2 in the last round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Al -Hussein Amouta told «Emirates Today»: “I am not allowed to talk about the Iraqi team’s offer or other offers that I received in the recent period out of my commitment to my contract with Al -Jazeera, and for other literary commitments with the management of the club with which I have a mutual respect, and currently my focus with Al -Jazeera and his career in the current season.”
He added: “It is still left in my contract with Al -Jazeera another season, and I am one of the coaches who respect their contracts, and it is not acceptable even to just talk about other offers I received and still links me a relationship with a place where I work now.”
And about his expectations for the team that will win the direct candidacy card for the World Cup if Iraq or Jordan, Amouta (55 years old) said: “I do not like to align a party at the expense of the other, because in the end they are two Arab team The President of the Federation, Adnan Darjal, who had previously trained me in Qatar, and his deputy, Younis Mahmoud, who also trained him in Qatar.
He explained: «Regardless of those who qualify directly for the World Cup, whether the Jordanian or Iraqi national team, the other party will have a strong opportunity to achieve the dream of its fans to qualify, whether through the second stage of the qualifiers or even in the last stage, and I wish them success in the remainder of their career in the qualifiers.
And if he as a coach prefers to work with national teams or clubs, he said: “Working in clubs gives you time to work and prepare almost daily with the players, unlike the teams where the work periods are less, it is true that as a coach you can call the best possible assortment of official or friendly matches, but time limited time may not serve the coach at times to connect his plans and tactical ideas.”
He continued: «When I was a coach of the Moroccan national team, whether for the local or the Olympic, there was direct communication with the players and the technical teams responsible for them to consult about some technical matters, so that it can be worked on before any gatherings of the Moroccan national team, and we have succeeded in this matter greatly.
Regarding his training experiences in Morocco, Jordan and the Emirates, and any of them is the most successful for him, Al -Jazeera coach said: “In Morocco I achieved a lot of titles, whether at the level of the League or Cup championship, as I won the African Champions League title, and in Jordan, I presented with Al -Nashami a work that I am proud of reaching the Asian Nations Cup final in a precedent that is the first in the history of Jordanian football.”
He added: «On the island there are some difficulties that face me, and it may reach the point of torment for me, because the circumstances did not help me until now because of the repeated absences that hit the team, whether with important injuries to quite a few players, we have almost permanent absences, especially in the back line, and this prompted me to change the position of the Egyptian international midfielder Mohamed Al -Nani, and to use it in the defense line to confront the numerical deficiency that we suffer from in this position.
Amouta concluded: “We have more than one task in the coming period with Al -Jazeera that we must complete in the fullest way by winning the professional Cup title and obtaining a qualified position for the AFC Champions League without discrimination to a goal at the expense of the other, and in the next season a lot of things will change within the team, whether by returning the absent players or supporting the team with new elements that increase the strength of the team.”
