The Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah receives an academic delegation from the Catholic University in Italy

Sharjah, April 12 / WAM / The Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah received a student and academic delegation from the Catholic University in Italy, which includes 11 male and female students accompanied by Dr. Wael Farouk, Director of the Arab Cultural Institute at the university.

The delegation program, during the visit that will continue until April 17, includes participating in extensive linguistic, cultural and tourism activities aimed at enhancing their skills in the Arabic language and introducing them to the history of Sharjah and its historical monuments.

The visit comes within the framework of academic cooperation between the complex and international educational institutions, with the aim of enhancing the presence of the Arabic language globally.

Dr. Mohamed Safi Al -Mostaghanemi, Secretary -General of the Arabic Language Complex in Sharjah, stressed that the aim of receiving delegations is to provide a comprehensive cultural experience linking students in their Arabic language by identifying the history and civilization of the nation.

For his part, Dr. Wael Farouk stressed that this visit is an investment in the future, as students will return to their country, loaded with a linguistic and cultural experience that enhances their association with Arabic and prompts them to continue to learn it.

The academic program includes visits to cultural landmarks in Sharjah, such as “House of Wisdom”, “The Holy Quran Complex” and “Museum of Islamic Civilization”, in addition to tourist tours in Khor Fakkan and Al -Nour Island, to introduce students to Emirati culture and its various environments.

The students expressed their happiness with the opportunity that the complex gave them to develop their linguistic skills, stressing that this experience will contribute to enhancing their understanding of the Arab and Emirati cultural identity.
