The President of the State confirms, during his reception, Ahmed Al -Shara

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him” and His Excellency Ahmed Al -Shara, President of the Syrian Arab Republic, discussed today the brotherly relations between the two countries and ways to enhance their joint cooperation for the good of their two brotherly peoples.

This came during the reception of His Highness – at the Beach Palace in Abu Dhabi – President Ahmed Al -Shara, who is on a work visit to the UAE, where during the meeting, His Highness welcomed the guest president, wishing him success and success in leading his country during the next stage and achieving the aspirations of the brotherly Syrian people towards development, security and stability.

The two sides reviewed a number of issues and topics in common concern and exchanged views on them.

The meeting also dealt with developments in the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic … affirming his highness in this context the UAE’s keenness to support the brothers in Syria to face the challenges of the transitional period and rebuild Syria in a way that meets the aspirations of its people towards a future that prevails in security, stability and prosperity

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan reaffirmed the UAE’s firm position towards supporting the unity, sovereignty of Syria and its territorial integrity.

His Highness said that the stability of Syria and the promotion of its security is an interest for the whole region, stressing that the UAE will spare no effort in providing all its support to Syria and its brotherly people during the coming period.
