المملكة: More than 1.1 billion riyals .. The implementation of 16 water and environmental projects in Al -Qassim

The National Water Company, represented by its northern sector, has started implementing 16 water and environmental projects in separate parts of the Qassim region, at a total cost exceeding 1.1 billion riyals, with the aim of raising the coverage rates with water and environmental services, improving their quality, and keeping pace with the increasing demand in the region.

The company explained that environmental projects include the implementation of 12 projects with a total value of more than 870 million riyals, which included the construction of networks and sewage lines with a length of more than 645 km, in addition to operating stations with an operating capacity of more than 6 thousand cubic meters per day.

Water and environmental services

She added that water projects included 4 projects at a total cost of more than 247 million riyals, which included extending lines and water networks with a length of more than 579 km.

“National Water” stressed that these projects come within their strategic plans to expand the provision of water and environmental services, keep pace with the accelerated growth of demand, and contribute to improving the quality of life, in order to achieve the Kingdom’s 2030 vision targets.
