The conclusion of a forum "The unified sports family" In Ras Al Khaimah
Ras Al Khaimah, April 25/ WAM/ The Ministry of Sports, in cooperation with the Emirates Sports Federation, concluded the Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Charitable Foundation, and the Ras Al Khaimah Club for People of Determination, yesterday, the event of the “Unified Sports Family Forum” in its second edition, under the slogan “Health Family … a healthy community”.
The event was organized with a media partnership from the Emirates News Agency “WAM”, in the gym of Ras Al Khaimah Club for the owners of determination, and achieved great success, as part of the ministry’s efforts to enhance inclusion and societal integration, and support the owners of determination and their families, with the participation of more than 450 athletes from the owners of determination and their families, and 20 governmental and private schools and specialized centers.
The activities included a group of sports for people with determination, most notably fluorpol, volleyball, table tennis, flying feather, and air hockey, in addition to various fitness games, which are the transfer of balls, surpasses, jumping gypsica, rolling them, and the game of transporting balls with a beaten, chairs, and boxing.
The forum comes within a series of events implemented by the Ministry of Sports within the framework of the “General Society 2025” initiatives, focusing on promoting the national identity, involving the public in various societal societal activities, and expanding the base of sports practice between different groups of society, especially those with determination.
Through its societal activities, the Ministry seeks to transform sport to a sustainable culture among all members of society, and to perpetuate its role as a basic catalyst for family cohesion and mental and physical health, up to a pioneering sports society capable of achieving achievements in various international forums.
The forum was attended by His Excellency Sumaya Abdullah Salem bin Hareb Al -Suwaidi, member of the Federal National Council, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Educational Foundation, Director General of the Ras Al Khaimah Club for People of Determination, His Excellency Naama Al Sharhan, Member of the Federal National Council, Saeed Al Aji, Vice President of the Emirates Sports Federation, and Rashid Al Mutawa, Advisor to the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence, and Haitham Al -Zarouni, Director of the Department of Community Sports in the Ministry of Sports.
Al -Suwaidi stressed the importance of this type of initiative in consolidating the values of integration and empowerment, praising cooperation between the organizational and supportive bodies, the efforts of the Ministry of Sports and the Emirates Sports Federation for all and everyone who contributed to organizing this event and its success.
For his part, Saeed Al -Aji said that the forum embodies the joint commitment between the Ministry of Sports and the Emirates Sports Federation for all and partners, by activating the role of the family in promoting community sport, as it is a key partner in supporting and directing children towards sports excellence.
He added that these activities contribute to enhancing the quality of life and building a sustainable healthy society, in line with the directions of the rational leadership aimed at enhancing collective participation in sports.
