المملكة: Details of the meeting of the Executive Committee of the Saudi -Qatari Coordination Council

His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met in the capital of the State of Qatar, Doha, today, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar.
During the meeting, bilateral relations, aspects of joint cooperation, and ways to develop them, were discussed to meet the aspirations of the leaders and peoples of the two brotherly countries.

The Saudi -Qatari Coordination Council

After that, His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar chaired the meeting of the Executive Committee emanating from the Saudi -Qatari Coordination Council, where they reviewed at the beginning of the meeting the strong fraternal relations, and discussed the mechanisms of developing them at the two and multi -party levels in the international arena within the framework of the work of the Saudi -Qatari Coordination Council and ways to deepen and enhance cooperation through a number of initiatives that would advance relations to wider horizons.
On the other hand, the Secretariat of the Executive Committee of the Saudi -Qatari Coordination Council reviewed during the meeting the course of the council’s work, and its committees emanating from it during the last period, in addition to developments and preparatory work for the eighth council meeting.

Coordination Council committees

The committee reviewed the extent of progress made in the work of the emanating committees and the initiatives that were launched during the seventh meeting of the Council, which was held in Doha on 5/21/1445 AH corresponding to 5/12/2023 AD.
The two sides praised the cooperation and coordination between the committees of the Coordination Council emanating and their work teams, and stressed the importance of its continuation of this pace with the aim of achieving the common specific interests of the two brotherly countries and their people.

The minutes of the meeting

At the end of the meeting, His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar signed the minutes of the meeting of the Executive Committee of the Saudi -Qatari Coordination Council.
The meeting was attended by Undersecretary for Political Affairs Ambassador Saud Al -Sati, His Highness Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the State of Qatar, the Director General of the Office of His Highness Minister Walid Al -Ismail, and the Secretary of the Executive Committee from the Saudi side Fahd Al -Harthy.
