Union Party: The new criminal procedure law is a qualitative shift to consolidate and promote completed justice

& nbsp; Mohamed Saif, deputy head of the Union Party, said that the new criminal procedures law represents a qualitative shift in the path of developing the Egyptian judicial system, noting that its permanent approval by the House of Representatives is a historical step in the path of Egyptian legislation.

& nbsp; The completion, through a comprehensive update of criminal procedures in a way that ensures a balance between the rights of the accused and the interests of society, and speeds up the pace of litigation without prejudice to the guarantees of a fair trial. The Vice -President of the Union Party stressed that the new legislation reflects the will of the state in building a modern and advanced judicial system, keeping pace with the variables and responding to the needs of citizens. Saif called for expediting the application of the law and providing the mechanisms of his technical and institutional support, to ensure the achievement of his goals on the ground and to enhance the confidence of the citizen in the justice system.
