He affirmed that Dubai, thanks to the vision of its wise leadership, has overcome the concept of the global city, to establish its position as the future city, with a strategic vision and proper planning.
Eng. Nasser Bushehab, Executive Director of the Planning and Governance Sector in Dubai Municipality, spoke during the meeting, about the municipality’s contributions to achieving the strategic goals of Dubai’s 2033 plan and its economic and social agencies, and the Dubai Urban Plan 2040, which was designed to make Dubai the best city to live, with the highest levels of quality of life.
Eng. Adel Al Marzouqi, Executive Director of the Waste and Sanitation Corporation in the Dubai Municipality, reviewed during the session the most prominent developments in the Dubai Municipality within the framework of the Dubai Urban Plan 2040, especially in the field of infrastructure for rainwater drainage, sanitation projects and integrated waste management, including a 30 billion “drainage” project that will be completed by the year 2033, where the start has been started With the implementation of 4 projects that will serve 9 regions in the Emirate of Dubai, with a value of one billion and 439 million dirhams, after their terrace this month.

Engineer Maryam Al -Muhairi, Executive Director of the Foundation for Organizing and Licensing of Buildings in Dubai Municipality, dealt with the most prominent municipal initiatives in the field of providing residential services and facilities, among them; The “House Priority” initiative aimed at providing integrated residential facilities to support and empower citizenship families, reduce living burdens and enhance family stability and societal cohesion, which coincides with the “year of society”.
She reviewed the developments of the file to allocate residential lands for citizens and public plans for the most important areas that are being implemented, such as the city of Latifa and the Fifth Al -Leis area, which is witnessing the completion of the last stages of its general plan.
The discussion dealt with the efforts of the Dubai Municipality in the field of employing artificial intelligence and advanced technology through its platforms, including the digital buildings platform, the building platform in Dubai, and the “Dubai Digital Twins” project aimed at creating a domestic digital version of Dubai in the form of two and three -dimensional maps containing all assets, landmarks and facilities, in addition to infrastructure maps.
During the session, Dr. Naseem Mohamed Rafi, Executive Director of the Environment, Health and Safety Corporation at the Acting Municipality, highlighted, during the session, highlighting the most prominent services and initiatives of the Dubai Municipality to ensure food safety and provide a sustainable diet, including the “safe water for a healthy community” initiative that was launched in cooperation with the “Community Development Authority” with the aim of promoting the safety of water systems in homes and villas of senior citizens in 10 different areas in The emirate, in its first stage, targeted 42 houses for senior citizens.
It also talked about the most important programs and applications related to the field of food safety and food products, including the application of Plus producers, the integrated system for regulating product trading according to health and safety requirements, and includes a database that includes more than 1.7 million records registered to enhance the import and export of products efficiently, and the proactive and control procedures to ensure adherence to the best general health standards.
She pointed out that Dubai receives 9 million tons of food and products through its outlets, which requires great efforts around the clock to ensure its safety in cooperation with the relevant authorities.
Badr Anouhi, Executive Director of the Public Utilities Foundation in Dubai Municipality, touched on the municipal efforts in the field of afforestation and green spaces, noting that the municipal work teams are planting 600 trees per day, and that the Dubai municipality nurseries are producing 90 million seedlings annually, with the employment of modern technologies and robotic arms in production.
Badr Anouhi pointed to the most prominent existing projects that Dubai Municipality is implementing, including the “Community Councils” project, during which 5 societal neighborhood councils will be constructed in areas; Nad Al -Sheba, the second, the second owear, Al -Baraqa, the first southern, the second shells, and the Hatta region, and shed light on the most prominent parks, entertainment facilities and public beaches that the municipality is currently developing, which are the beaches of Al -Mamzar and include the creek and the Corniche, and the Jumeirah Beach to be opened in front of the public next July.
Sayed Ismail Al -Hashemi, Executive Director of the Acting Corporate Support Services Sector in Dubai Municipality, stressed the importance of partnerships with the private sector, and to provide an environment that stimulates business practicing, allowing investors to expand their businesses and partnerships, indicating that the contribution of Dubai Municipality to the Dubai Emirate’s portfolio to partnership between the public and private sectors amounts to 28 billion dirhams for the years between 2024 and 2026, with 13 projects.
He pointed out that the design of the first stage of the virtual appointment system will include more than 50% of the services of Dubai Municipality.
