The conclusion of the national competition for the UAE skills in its 16th session
Abu Dhabi, May 2 / WAM / The activities of the 16th session of the National Competition for the UAE skills, which were held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, “Mother of the Emirates”, President of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme President of the Family Development Association, and organized by the Abu Dhabi Center for Technical and Vocational Education and Training.
The competition, which was held at the Emnik Abu Dhabi Center, witnessed a strong competition in various technical and professional skills, as 72 contestants showed high excellence and efficiency, which culminated in their winning gold, silver and bronze medals, reflecting the advanced level of national skills.
The center affirmed, during the closing ceremony of the event yesterday, its pride and congratulations to these inspiring youth, who represent a honorable model for the future generation, who is able to contribute the active to the country’s progress and achieve the targets of “We Emirates 2031”.
During the ceremony, the date of the 17th edition of the National Competition for the UAE Skills 2026, which will be held from March 30 to April 1, 2026.
The event witnessed the honor of a number of sponsors and partners who contributed to the success of the event, led by the advanced technology research council (platinum sponsor), and the company “Edge” (Silver Sponsor), as well as skill sponsors, exhibitors and media partner.
The national competition for the skills of the Emirates continues its role as a strategic initiative aimed at preparing national cadres with the specialized skills required in the labor market, and enhancing a culture of excellence and innovation among Emirati youth, in line with the aspirations of the rational leadership and the sustainable development process in the country.
