Abu Dhabi, May 5/ WAM/ The General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat has completed the cultivation of 10,000 seedlings in the vicinity of mosques in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which was contributed by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister and head of the Presidential Bureau, as a charitable stop in support of the initiative “We grow our Masida”, which was launched by the authority to grow trees around mosques, with the aim of increasing the green area Enhancing the local environment, and supporting biological diversity, in line with the National Program initiative, “Granding the Emirates”.
His Excellency Dr. Omar Habtoor Al -Darai, Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, confirmed the completion of the first stage of the initiative through cultivation of 3.684 seedlings in Abu Dhabi, 3,683 seedlings in the Al Ain region, and 2.633 seedlings in the Al Dhafra region, distributed between the Ghaf and Sidr trees that are compatible with the environment in the UAE, and is considered a symbol of the heritage and history of society The Emirati, praising the great support that the authority received from the rational leadership represented by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”.

His Excellency extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his great support for this initiative and his keenness to make it successful, calling on God – the Almighty – to make this endowment in the balance of its good deeds, appreciating his supportive initiatives in all its affairs.
