المملكة: At a cost of 400 million riyals .. “National Water” begins the implementation of two projects in the northern borders

The National Water Company announced the start of the implementation of two environmental projects in the northern border region, as part of its development plans to enhance environmental and water infrastructure, at a total cost exceeding 400 million riyals.

The company, represented by its northern sector, explained that the first project includes the construction of a triple treatment plant for sewage in Arar, with a capacity of 40 thousand cubic meters per day, in addition to a lifting station with a capacity of 72 thousand cubic meters per day, and at a total cost exceeding 341 million riyals.

Sanitary networks in Rafha

As for the second project, it includes the implementation of lines and sewage networks in Rafha Governorate with a length of more than 74 km, and the establishment of a daily raising station exceeding 22 thousand cubic meters, and at a total cost exceeding 59 million riyals.

The company emphasized that these projects come within the framework of its strategy to expand the provision of water and sanitation services and raise the efficiency of infrastructure, which contributes to improving the quality of life for the population and achieving the targets of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.
