"Abu Dhabi early childhood" Honor graduates of the program "Developing social work skills"

Abu Dhabi, May 7/ WAM/ The Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority honored 16 graduates and graduates from the experimental batch of the “Development of Social Work Skills” program, as part of its commitment to support and empower Emirati social workers to meet the requirements of families and children.
The program, which includes specialized training courses and practical experiences, aims to prepare graduates of social service specializations for the labor market, by providing them with theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to fill jobs in this vital field, and facilitate the joining of new graduates in the workforce in the early childhood development sector, and bridging the gap between local universities and employers.
The experimental phase of the program was implemented from August 2024 to January 2025, and the National Academy for Childhood Development is scheduled to take responsibility for launching the program in the future.
The authority developed the content of the program in cooperation with the United Arab Emirates University, Higher Technology Colleges, Zayed University, and Georgetown University. The program also implemented in partnership with the Community Development Department, the Family Welfare Authority, the Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority, the Education Group, the Social Services Department in the Sharjah government, and the Dana Emirates Hospital.
His Excellency Dr. Hessa Ali Al -Kaabi, Executive Director of the Private Projects Sector and Partnerships at the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority, stressed in her speech during the honoring ceremony held at the Al -Falah Community Pulse Center, the importance of this program in achieving a qualitative shift in the social work sector, noting that it comes within the framework of the continuous efforts of the authority to support the Abu Dhabi Strategy for Early Childhood Development 2035, through which it seeks to build a supportive and possible society for children Young people.
We believe that the social work sector is one of the main pillars in building a coherent and sustainable society, therefore, the basic skills that these graduates have acquired to improve the quality of social services provided in a large way, especially the services provided to the families of young children, and we are proud of the efforts we have made with our partners, to enable them to make a real and positive impact in society.
For her part, Zahra Al -Buraiki, a graduate of the social work skills development program, said in a speech on behalf of the graduates, that the program has a turning point for all participants, not only at the academic level, but also in developing their practical skills.
The social work skills development program is part of a more comprehensive strategy for human capital development, which the authority has developed to ensure the availability of specialized and highly efficient workforce in the field of early childhood development in Abu Dhabi, and to help prepare a generation of social workers who are able to make a positive impact in society.
