المملكة: “Religious Affairs” does cognitive paths with the “Sanctuary Library” to serve pilgrims

The General Presidency for Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, represented by the Library, Publications and Scientific Research Agency, has activated a package of qualitative paths within its preparations for the Hajj season 1446 AH.
It aims to enrich the experience of the guests of Rahman inside the Al -Haram Al -Sharif Library in several languages, in the context of a scientific and cultural orientation that accompanies the Saudi vision 2030, and reflects the cultural and spiritual depth of the Two Holy Mosques.

Rare manuscripts

The Al -Haram Al -Makki Library is one of the most ancient libraries in the Islamic world, as it is unique in its geographical location in the holiest spot on the face of the earth, and its rich connotation of religious books, rare manuscripts and sources of multiple knowledge in different languages, which makes it a scientific and spiritual destination for researchers, students of science and visitors to the Sacred House.

Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al -Sudais, Head of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, stressed that the Al -Haram Library represents a civilized and cultural platform that reflects the message of the Two Holy Mosques.
It contributes to spreading religious knowledge and mild thought of the worlds. Pointing out that activating this message in several languages ​​during the current Hajj season is a strategic step to deliver its scientific and spiritual contents to the whole world.

A civilized and religious window

Al -Sudais said: “The library of the Grand Mosque in Mecca is a global civilized and religious window, and a firm knowledge of knowledge in the service of the guests of Rahman,” stressing that the rational leadership – may God preserve it – attaches the library great attention within the comprehensive development process for the two depths, supporting digitization efforts and expanding scientific publishing.

He explained that the spread of the cultural scientific thesis of the Two Holy Mosques, which was expressed by the noble verse:﴿ Places and guidance for the scholars, is a firm goal for the presidency, which has begun through its specialized agencies in activating a number of programs and educational, awareness and cognitive paths within the campus library, to meet the needs of pilgrims and researchers, and enrich their faith and scientific experience during the Hajj season.
