The Emirates Medical Forum reviews the achievements achieved by the health system in the country

Abu Dhabi, May 10 / WAM / The “Emirates Doctors” initiative organized a coincide with the “Emirates Medical Day”, which falls on May 9 of each year, the Emirates Medical Forum under the slogan “For You, O Watan”, with the wide participation of national cadres from the reserve and voluntary medical emergency teams and the first defense line from workers in government and private hospitals in the country.
The organization of the forum came within the framework of a package of events and activities accompanying the celebration of “Emirates Medical Day” in appreciation of the efforts of medical and nursing cadres and health services providers and in implementation of the initiatives of the Emirates Young Medical Leadership Program, the Emirates Medical Volunteering Program, the Emirates Reading and Medical Response Program “Reader” and the National Academy for Training “Training” and hosting from Fatima College of Health Sciences.
The forum reviewed the pioneering role that Emirates doctors play in upgrading the health sector and in honor of the winners of the “Emirates Medical Award” and “Emirates Medical Order”, in addition to honoring volunteers from the first defense line who participated in medical campaigns inside and outside the country in a step that reflects the appreciation of humanitarian giving and noble efforts of medical cadres.
The forum stressed the importance of highlighting the achievements achieved by the health system in the country and highlighting the qualitative initiatives that support the quality of life and public health within the framework of the UAE’s vision to provide a pioneering model in the field of health care.
Dr. Adel Al -Shamri Al -Ajmi, CEO of the Zayed Al -Ataa Initiative, President of “Emirates Doctors” and “Reading” program, said that the Emirates Medical Day is an important national station to honor workers in the health sector and appreciate their dedication to community service and this forum is a platform to highlight these efforts and review the initiatives that resulted in building qualified medical cadres and enhancing their capabilities.
He pointed out that the efforts of the Emirates doctors to support the rational leadership resulted in the inauguration of a series of virtual medical academies and the training of more than 25 thousand cadres of the first defense line, as well as launching the first mobile field hospital and managing a series of mobile medical clinics locally and internationally, which contributed to providing medical services to millions of beneficiaries within a humanitarian and voluntary umbrella.
For his part, Professor Olivier Jacdeen, Executive Director of the National Academy for Health Care, said that the annual celebration of the Emirates Medical Day comes in appreciation of workers in the health sector, pointing out that the slogan of this year “Emirates appreciates you” reflects the state’s gratitude for their efforts to preserve the health and safety of society.
Dr. Noura Al -Ajmi, director of the Emirates Medical Leadership Program, confirmed that this day represents a national occasion to highlight the achievements achieved by the health sector and highlight the great role played by medical cadres in serving the community and achieving the quality of life and continuing the path of medical excellence led by the UAE.
