A historical quad for Al -Ahly youth in a difficult season

The Chairman of Al -Ahly Football Company, Talal Al -Shanqeeti, stressed that the victory of Dubai Knights with four historical titles out of six championships that came after a difficult season, expressing his happiness to obtain the most expensive titles “The President of the State Cup” and dismantle the partnership with the Sharjah Club in the number of victories in the tournament.
Al-Ahly youth succeeded in crowning the expense of Sharjah in the final of the President’s Cup, after a 2-1 victory at the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium, to become the youth of Al-Ahly most crowned with the cup with 11 titles compared to 10 titles for the “King”.
Al -Shanqeeti told «Emirates Today»: “A big championship, four championships in the season are very wonderful, and we succeeded in breaking the partnership with the Sharjah team in the cup championship, as the current season was difficult, but the team was prepared very well and we provided alternatives that succeeded in making the difference to achieve the team at the end of the season, its main goal, which is to win this number of championships, which is great, although the ambition is always greater but football.”
He added: «At the end of the season, there will be a comprehensive evaluation of the players and work during the current season, to discuss the hopes and aspirations of the fans during the coming period, and we know that the fans are looking for an Asian championship, and we will work on that, we are always looking for the happiness of the club’s fans because it is one, but in general reaching this number of championships during the current season is great, and we will try to achieve more the coming period.
