Discounts in additional customs duties between Beijing and Washington into effect

An agreement between China and the United States raised part of the additional customs duties imposed between the two countries, today, which constitutes a truce in the trade war between Washington and Beijing that rocked the global economy.

Washington and Beijing announced on Monday a very large reduction in these mutual customs duties after talks last weekend in Geneva.
