The third day sessions witnessed in -depth discussions on the digital transformation in manufacturing, industrial sustainability, and the latest technologies in the field of artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things.
The future of human industrialization
In a major axis entitled “From Industry 4.0 to Industry 5.0”, the participants discussed the transition from the concepts of automation and digitization to humanitarian manufacturing, supported by smart technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, stressing the importance of developing smart factories capable of processing data and taking proactive decisions that enhance efficiency and reliability.
The session “The next generation of industrial digitization and automation solutions” also dealt with pioneering experiences in automating petrochemical factories, the role of operational excellence in promoting digital initiatives, in addition to displaying practical models in elaborating resources of institutions (ERP).
Sustainability and industrial pollution
In a session entitled “Sustainable Manufacturing and the Future of Industrial Pollution”, experts stressed the necessity of adopting low -emissions production technologies and developing policies to keep pace with global environmental legislation, which enhances the Kingdom’s direction towards green industry and achieving the targets of sustainable development.
The closing session on the third day discussed the topic of “smart logistical services and interconnected supply chains”, and speakers reviewed digital transformations in the transport and supply sector, high dependence on automated systems and predictive analyzes in managing supply chains efficiently and flexibly.
Promote industrial competitiveness
The third day also witnessed the organization of a number of interactive workshops that focused on strategic programs such as “industrial competitiveness”, “future factories”, and the ties of local and global industries, with the aim of enhancing industrial knowledge and stimulating digital investment in line with the National Industry Strategy.
