United Nations: The comprehensive closure imposed on Gaza is deliberate and must be ended immediately

This came in statements to United Nations news today, Thursday, where she said that “The comprehensive closure of Gaza is totally unacceptable, and it is of course deliberate, and it must be finished immediately”.
She pointed to the continued attacks throughout Gaza, which seems to have intensified in the past two days. She said that two hospitals were bombing in less than 24 hours, with a small time difference, namely Nasser Medical Complex and the European Gaza Hospital.
Cherifko said: “These attacks are still terrifying people who expect hospitals to be a sanctuary that provides them with protection, as it terrifies workers who continue to go to work, thinking that they may be the next goal of such attacks.”.
She again stressed the need to protect hospitals and healthcare facilities, and always protect civilians, including relief workers and health care workers.
Despair
A spokeswoman for the Humanitarian Coordination Office reported that they distributed their remaining food stocks on hot meals a few weeks ago.
She warned that the amount of these daily meals provided by community kitchens has decreased from one million to 249 thousand meals.
س In order: “People are terrified, and they tell me every day that they do not know how they will survive.”.
The UN official said: “I passed several kitchens in the past few days, as crowds of people were standing empty time and despair appeared on their faces, and these people were asked to return to their homes because all food had run out for that day.”.
New displacement orders
Meanwhile, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reported the continued escalation of hostilities, which led to more deaths, displacement and the destruction of civil infrastructure.
The office added in its last update that in addition to the continuous bombing, the Israeli army issued yesterday, Wednesday, and today, Thursday, three other displacement orders, covering 7 percent of the total area of the sector.
The displacement order, which was issued yesterday for six neighborhoods in the North Gaza Governorate, is interfered with parts of the areas covered by the orders of displacement issued on Tuesday. He explained that, according to preliminary estimates, this newly affected area with displacement orders includes about 100,000 people.
He added that displacement orders affected 30 sites for the displaced, and six temporary education spaces serve about 700 students, as well as many facilities and assets of water and sanitation.
Partners in humanitarian work stated that several hundreds of families fled parts of the affected areas yesterday, but dozens of them returned today due to the lack of space and shelter. Another displacement order was issued yesterday by parts of the Ramallah area in Gaza City. The office indicated that another displacement was issued to parts of the Al -Remal neighborhood in Gaza City.
The Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said that the order of displacement issued today affected thousands of residents in ten neighborhoods in Deir Al -Balah and Khan Yunis, adding that the initial estimate indicates that the affected area includes eight wells, five water tanks, seven humanitarian warehouses, three healthy clinics and other vital facilities.
The office stated that until yesterday, about 71 percent of the Gaza Strip was subject to the orders of displacement or in Israeli military areas where the Israeli authorities are asking humanitarian teams to coordinate their movements.
He cautioned that these displacement orders come at a time when Gaza residents face the risk of starvation, and one in every five people face starvation.
Evacuation of more than 200 patients
The OCHA office reported that the Israeli forces bombed another school of the Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in the Nuseirat area in Deir Al -Balah, which was a shelter for the displaced, but no injuries were reported.
He stressed that the United Nations and its partners are committed to staying and providing assistance despite the increasing challenges.
Meanwhile, the World Health Organization evacuated 284 patients and their companions from the European Gaza Hospital in Khan Yunis to Europe and the United Arab Emirates, despite the difficult circumstances.
The Humanitarian Coordination Office reminded that the Israeli forces bombed the hospital’s buildings twice a day before the scheduled evacuation date.
Hunger and deprivation exacerbate
The OCHA office explained that the comprehensive Israeli ban on the entry of goods, including aid and other life -saving supplies, is still aggravated hunger and deprivation throughout the sector.
He stressed that the United Nations and its partners have 9,000 trucks loaded with vital supplies ready to start to Gaza, and that more than half of these trucks contain food aid. There are thousands of other trucks that carry aid in the process of equipment.
The office warned that if the complete closure is not completed immediately, the already limited assistance that the partners can provide to the most vulnerable groups in Gaza will shrink more.
He stressed that the United Nations has a solid operating plan based on principles to provide humanitarian aid and life -saving services on a large scale, and immediately throughout the Gaza Strip, stressing that time is a decisive factor to prevent more deaths.
The situation in the West Bank
On the situation in the West Bank, the Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said that the continuation of violence leads to more killing, displacement and destruction of property.
He added that in the Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps in the northern West Bank, the demolition of homes and displacement continued since the issuance of two Israeli military matters in early May, demolishing more than 100 buildings in these two sites.
He said that in recent days, about 200 families in Jenin have gradually returned to the outskirts of the Jenin refugee camp, which is still on population.
