The Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai decided to suspend school evaluation and control operations in private schools in Dubai during the academic year 2025-2026, as part of its continuous efforts to develop and support the quality of education in the emirate.
The decision includes all private schools, with the exception of new schools that have completed their third operating year, which will be subject to full school control operations for the first time.
The authority will continue to follow the performance of schools through school visits, focusing on specific aspects related to the quality of education and continuous development, provided that these visits are determined based on the priorities of the education strategy 33, and the observations from the school community.
The authority stressed the importance of schools continuing to conduct external standard assessments regularly, to ensure academic progress for students, in addition to providing periodic updates through self -evaluation models.
“The suspension of school oversight during the next academic year provides an opportunity to think and enhance cooperation on the best ways to support the quality of education,” said Fatima Ibrahim in Al -Rahif. Through visits and continuous interaction with schools, we guarantee that every child in Dubai has high -quality education, in line with the aspirations of our rational leadership and the education strategy 33 ».
