Health statistics issued by Al -Madinah Al -Munawwarah’s health gathering revealed the provision of extensive and comprehensive medical services to the guests of Rahman during the period from the beginning of the month of Dhu al -Qi’dah until today.
71 surgeries and cardiac catheterization were performed in the region’s hospitals. 37 cardiac catheterization operations were distributed between treatment and diagnostic, and 34 surgeries, as part of pre -emptive preparations to ensure the safety of pilgrims in the Hajj season this year 1446 AH.

5717 emergency cases

The report stated that 5717 emergency cases were received by the emergency departments of hospitals, as 9945 pilgrims reviewed the health centers in the region, in addition to the implementation of 37 dialysis sessions for cases that require accurate follow -up.

In the context of field services, mobile medical clinics provided their services to 1881 pilgrims, and ambulance teams recorded 845 transport cases, within a mobile health system around the clock, covering various vital points in the city.

Health awareness programs

Health awareness programs witnessed a wide turnout from pilgrims, as the number of beneficiaries reached 185,580 pilgrims, as part of a comprehensive awareness campaign aimed at enhancing prevention concepts, raising the level of health awareness among the guests of Rahman, and ensuring a safe and healthy pilgrimage.

This effort comes within an integrated coordination between health and service agencies operating in the Hajj season, to provide the best levels of medical care for the guests of Rahman in Medina, reflecting the readiness of the health system and its ability to respond immediately and raise the efficiency of the services provided.
