The regulation approved the mandatory provision of a system Advanced electronic mediation allows sharing the journey between passengers, while providing continuous technical support around the clock to receive complaints and suggestions through channels that include direct human response.

In an advanced security measure, the Authority obligated applications to provide an “emergency icon” directly linked to the Security Operations Center at the Ministry of Interior, to ensure rapid response to emergency situations even after the end of the trip.

The controls emphasized the protection of passengers’ data and privacy, preventing any use of their data for marketing or other purposes without explicit consent, while enabling them to evaluate the service and share the trip itinerary with their families.

The regulations preserved the rights of all parties through a clear pricing mechanism that requires The Authority’s prior approval, and prohibited collecting the fare if the car broke down during the trip or the driver refused to complete it for unjustified reasons.

The regulations specified the scope of the service within cities, requiring special approval for transportation between cities. It also prohibited the use of public transport routes or its infrastructure without prior permission from the relevant authorities.

The Authority threatened violators with deterrent penalties, including financial fines and revocation of the license in specific cases, such as the cancellation of the commercial register or the number of cars falling below the permissible limit without Handling the situation.
