Today, the competitions of the last round of the “Abu Dhabi Grand Salam for Jujitsu”, which witnessed a remarkable brilliance of the UAE champions in the professional category, and the Emirati champion Omar Al -Suwaidi crowned the title of the best player in the world according to the classification of the Abu Dhabi Jojitsu Professional for the 2024 – 2025 season with 11200 points in the professional category, a black belt For the weight of 56 kg, confirming the advanced global status of jujitsu sport in the country.
The UAE Cummond Group Academy has maintained its lead in the arrangement of international academies with 140100 points, thanks to the distinguished performance of its players, which reflects the effectiveness of the sporting infrastructure that the state provided to develop this sport and enhance its global presence.
The winners of the season prizes, Mohamed Salem Al Dhaheri, Vice President of the Emirates Jujitsu Federation, Youssef Abdullah Al -Batran, member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Federation for Jujitsu, and Tariq Omar Al -Bahri, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Association for the Jujitsu Professionals.
Regarding the results of the last day in the closing round of the Abu Dhabi Grand Salam championship that was allocated to the professionals, Brazil topped the first place, and the UAE ranked second, while Russia came in third place, in a clear indication of the great development witnessed by the tournament at the technical and organizational levels within the country.
Tariq Omar Al -Bahri stressed that the “Abu Dhabi Grand Salam” championship embodies the prestigious position that Abu Dhabi has become as a global capital of sports, noting that the professional organization and the unique competitive environment contributed to attracting a group of the most prominent stars of Jujitsu from all over the world.
