The General Authority for Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque uses an advanced technology during the Hajj season this year 1446 AH, which depends on ground sensors and readers of the entrances to manage and monitor crowds on the floor of the main entrances and exits of the Grand Mosque, with the aim of raising the operational efficiency by following up the flows and crowds and improving its management effectively in partnership with the concerned authorities.
These advanced technologies work through sophisticated smart cameras that feel entry and exit movement; It allows immediate monitoring of the flow of the guests of Rahman and to determine the congestion points more precisely to improve promotion plans.

Improving crowd distribution

This double system of sensors and cameras contributes to improving the distribution of crowds inside the Grand Mosque, especially in the roles of the end and endeavor; Which helps to organize the movement and enhance the safety of visitors, especially during peak times, in addition to facilitating the smoothness of entry and exit by relying on accurate and historical data in making appropriate decisions.
The authority stressed the importance of adopting such systems and smart technologies to support effective planning and crowd management to enhance the efficiency of systems in this and develop the means of monitoring human flows inside the Grand Mosque; In order to achieve the highest levels of flow and regulation according to high -precision criteria to take decisions based on accurate data and a comprehensive analysis of the movement within the Grand Mosque to reach outstanding results and solutions.
This step comes within the efforts of the Authority’s continuous investment of modern technologies to improve the services provided to the pilgrims of the Sacred House of God.
