المملكة: Tourise Summit .. The Kingdom leads the future of global tourism to promising prospects

The Minister of Tourism, Ahmed bin Aqeel Al -Khatib, announced the launch of the Tourise Summit, which aims to redraw the features of the future of the global tourism sector, by unifying efforts between the public and private sectors, and with the participation of tourism experts and investors from around the world; In order to formulate innovative visions that support sustainable growth globally in the tourism sector, in the capital, Riyadh, during the period from 11 to 13 November 2025.
He said: “The tourism sector has become one of the most interconnected and vital sectors in the global economy, and this necessitates keeping pace with global developments by adapting technical changes, upgrading the changing expectations of tourists, and responding to the urgent call aimed at achieving sustainability and inclusiveness.”

Tourise summit

The summit promised a rich opportunity to partnership with innovators from various sectors, indicating that the Tourise summit will provide the opportunity to redraw the features of the future of tourism with the participation of innovators and future visions, and individuals from different sectors will unite to develop innovative solutions that deal with the challenges facing the sector, as well as the exceptional opportunities to build strategic relations.
The CEO of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), a member of the Consultative Committee of: Tourise Julia Simpson, stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation between the public and private sectors through joint work to meet today’s challenges, and to build a sustainable and innovative tourist future for future generations.

Great investments

The summit deals with four main axes, namely: facing challenges, investing growth opportunities, stimulating major investments, developing future policies, and will highlight qualitative topics such as artificial intelligence in tourism, bold investment models, renewable travel experiences, and tourism that balances man and the planet.
The activities include the launch of the “Tourise Summit” awards to honor the distinguished achievements at the level of destinations, and the entities in the following areas: sustainability, digital transformation, heritage preservation, and the development of human competencies, and the nominations are offered via the Tourise Awards, and the awards will be delivered to the winners in an official ceremony held within the agenda of the summit agenda.

The future of tourism

The summit activities continue throughout the year through digital cooperation, the formation of specialized work groups, and the construction of multi -sectarian partnerships, which enhances its sustainable impact.
The organization of the summit reflects the growing role of the Kingdom in leading the future of tourism globally, as the Kingdom received about 30 million international tourists in 2024 AD, and the sector contributed 5% of the gross domestic product.
