Emirates … integrated procedures and measures to serve the pilgrims of the country

The UAE has intensified its efforts to complete the various measures and measures that enable the country’s pilgrims to perform the Hajj ritual this year with ease. The General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat stated that the number of citizens who perform the Hajj pilgrimage for this year reached 6 thousand and 228 citizens, of whom 5648 pilgrims perform it for the first time.

The authority indicated the distribution of 6500 Qur’an, 6500 crossings, 6500 “chirptun booklets”, 6500 pilgrims, 6500 “brochures of pilgrim values”, and 6500 “supplication booklet with Hajj”.

His Excellency Dr. Omar Habtoor Al -Darai, Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, stressed that the comfort of the pilgrims of the state is at the top of the priorities of the rational leadership in the UAE, which is directed and followed annually the process of providing all the needs and requirements of state pilgrims since they went to the Holy Land until their return to their homes safe after performing the obligatory prayer.

His Excellency pointed out, in statements to the Emirates News Agency “WAM”, to the continuous development strategy that the authority follows to improve the services provided to the pilgrims of the state, and to follow the best practices in the Hajj system and program, stressing that the authority has taken all preparations and measures that guarantee the performance of the Hajj pilgrimage easily and reassures.

The Hajj Mission for the UAE Pilgrims’ Affairs Office had recently arrived in the Holy Land, in preparation for receiving the pioneers of pilgrims and preparing to receive the official mission that includes representatives of the various government agencies that make up the office to all in harmony to serve the pilgrims of the state.

The committee began its duties at the headquarters of the mission in Makkah Al -Mukarramah, preparation and pre -preparation in various administrative, health and other aspects, and to receive the pioneers of pilgrims through Jeddah International Airport and facilitate all their affairs until their arrival at their residence and reassurance about their health and conditions.

The mission inspected the headquarters of the state pilgrims in Mina and Arafat and followed all its requirements and the extent of its conformity with the standards and requirements set by the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, in the context of its keenness on the comfort of the pilgrims in these rituals.

In a related context, the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat organized, last Tuesday, the “Emirates Pilgrims Forum” in cooperation with the parties and partners who share services to the services of the state pilgrims, which witnessed the attendance and participation of about 8 thousand people.

The forum included many dialogue sessions and cultural and awareness platforms, in addition to an exhibition of historical images of the founding of the founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, and what was in his reign of great care of Hajj and Umrah affairs.

The forum targeted the promotion of pilgrims’ awareness of the rituals of Hajj in an innovative way, the advancement of health, preventive and organizational services, strengthening institutional partnerships that contribute to providing proactive and integrated services for the state pilgrims to perform the Hajj pilgrimage with reassurance, and highlight the civilizational image of the UAE in organizing the Hajj affairs by supporting the rational leadership, and introducing the pilgrims with the most prominent initiatives and services provided by the authority in coordination with its partners Strategists.

During the forum, the initiative to classify the Hajj and Umrah campaigns launched by the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat was reviewed in cooperation with the UAE Program for Distinguished Government Service, to evaluate the performance of Hajj and Umrah campaigns according to the global stars system for the classification of services.

Last January, the commission with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia signed a cooperation and coordination agreement on the arrangements of Hajj Affairs for the 1446 AH for pilgrims of the UAE while performing the rituals.

The agreement aims to enhance the frameworks of cooperation to facilitate the entry and exit of pilgrims of the UAE to the Kingdom through all crossings, and coordination between the two sides in various fields, in a way that enables the Pilgrims Affairs Office to provide services to the state pilgrims in the holy sites and provide all amenities.

For its part, the Emirates Health Services Corporation stressed the necessity of conducting the necessary medical examinations, and receiving basic vaccinations required to provide immunity and prevent diseases in a manner that guarantees health and safety during the performance of the Hajj rituals.

The Foundation indicated that Hajj vaccines must be taken at least 10 days before the travel date, to ensure that the body gets the necessary immunity against targeted diseases.

She stressed the importance of taking a sufficient amount of medications after consulting a doctor, especially those with chronic diseases, who urged them to carry a detailed report that explains their pathological condition and the medications they take and the number of doses, as this procedure helps to follow up their health condition when necessary.

In turn, a number of national air carriers are preparing to operate additional flights to facilitate the movement of passengers to perform the Hajj and Eid al -Adha rituals this year.

Emirates Airlines has announced the operation of 33 flights to Jeddah and Madinah during the period from 19 to 31 May, and 10 to 16 June.
