Al -Maskari, Executive Director of Bani Yas Football Company

Bani Yas Football Company announced the appointment of Saqr Al -Maskari as an executive director of the company, in a move aimed at enhancing administrative performance and advancing the development wheel in the club’s sports system, thanks to the former CEO of Football Company Salem Obaid Al -Zaabi.

Bani Yas Football Company said in a statement today, Monday: “Saqr Al -Maskari has extensive experience in the sports administration and the leadership of the institutional teams, where he held several leadership positions through which he contributed to developing institutional performance and achieving qualitative results in the sports sector, where he was the head of the Sports Activities Department in the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, in addition to his sporting career as a former player in the basketball team in the Bani Yas Club.”

The management of the Bani Yas Club confirmed that “this appointment comes within the club’s strategy aimed at building a professional administration capable of keeping pace with the aspirations and developing institutional work, in a way that keeps pace with the club’s ambitions and fans in the next stage.”

For his part, Saqr Al -Maskari expressed his thanks and appreciation for the confidence of the club’s board of directors, stressing his intention to provide everything that would improve administrative and technical work within the football company, and work in the team’s spirit to achieve the desired goals.
