Celebrate scoring goals by taking a walk on Fujairah Beach

Fujairah Club’s first team player, Frenchman Sander Ben Bachir, revealed his team’s strong chances of competing for promotion to play in the next season of the ADNOC Professional League, but he stressed that the season is still long, and tactical discipline must be continued by the team, and keenness to achieve positive results and take advantage of the match conditions in light of the intense competition between the teams, pointing out that the competition to snatch one of the two promotion tickets is limited to eight teams, namely Fujairah, United and Al Arabi, Dibba Al-Hisn, Al-Dhaid, Hatta, Al-Orouba and Al-Emarat, which have a points score between 27-21. Bin Bashir, who is the top scorer in the First Division League, also indicated that he often celebrates scoring goals after each match by taking a walk in the beautiful places in Fujairah, especially on Umbrella Beach.
Sander Bin Bashir told Emirates Al-Youm: “We have every opportunity to advance this season, but the challenge is greater since last season, given the presence of strong teams that have clearly strengthened their ranks and set advancement as their main goal.”
He added: “I hope to be an influential element with the team, and I believe that I am currently having one of my best seasons on a personal level, whether in terms of the number of goals or influence on the field, but the season is not over yet. “I feel very happy with helping the team by scoring goals. However, winning remains the most important thing, even if it was achieved without me scoring.”
Ben Bachir is considered one of the most prominent strikers this season, after he succeeded in scoring decisive goals that put him at the top of the scorers’ rankings with 15 goals, in addition to his contribution to playmaking and leading the team’s offensive line.
Balotelli
Regarding international names joining the league, such as Italian Al-Ettifaq player Mario Balotelli, he said: “I am happy to have a player of Balotelli’s caliber in the competition, and I hope to finish the season ahead of him, even if he joined late.”
Regarding his scoring 15 goals in the first round of the tournament so far, which is a rare number compared to previous seasons, and his success in escaping intense defensive monitoring, Ben Bachir said: “I have become accustomed to special monitoring on the field, and that no longer surprises me, but rather pushes me to provide the best.”
Message and tribute
The player sent a message to the Fujairah fans, calling on them to encourage the team from the stands, in which he said: “We need the support of the fans at this important stage. We have loyal fans who are keen to attend constantly, and we greatly appreciate their support, and we hope that the attendance will be greater in the coming period.”
Regarding his ambitions with Fujairah, he said: “My only ambition is to return Fujairah Club to the professional league, and for this reason I continue with the team, and I hope that we will succeed in achieving this goal together.” He praised his teammate, Fahd Barot, with whom he forms a duo considered the most prominent in the first division league, stressing the strength of harmony within the team, noting that: “Fahad Barot makes distinguished passes, like the rest of my colleagues, and my relationship with him is excellent, and he is an important player within the team.”
Regarding his relationship with the city of Fujairah, he described it as a quiet city that includes the elements of comfort, and that he spends most of his time in the beautiful places in Fujairah, especially on Umbrella Beach, and described it as his favorite place after every match, especially when he scores goals and on vacations.
Regarding his follow-up of the African Nations Championship, he said: “I followed the Algerian team, but their exit from the competition was disappointing.” He described the loss and exit as “part of football, as there must be a winner,” and stressed that the Senegal team deserved to win the tournament.
Sander Ben Bashir:
• I love scoring goals, and my ambition is to lead Fujairah to the “professionals.”
