The Committee for the Crescent of Dhu al -Hijjah holds its meeting tomorrow in the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi

The “Hilal Al -Hijjah’s Investigation Committee for the year 1446 AH” holds the Emirates Legal Fatwa Council, based on the national tasks and responsibilities that it was held by its meeting at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi tomorrow evening Tuesday: 29 Dhu al -Qi’dah 1446 AH, corresponding to May 27, 2025 AD; Headed by the scholar Abdullah bin Al -Sheikh Al -Mahfouz bin Bey, Chairman of the Emirates Sharia Fatwa Council and the presence of Dr. Omar Habtoor Al -Darai, Vice -President of the Council, and members of the experts specialized in the legal, Fatwa, legal and astronomical aspects.

During its meeting, the committee will supervise the study of scientific data and accurate reports received from the competent authorities and institutions regarding astronomical accounts for the moment of the birth of the crescent, the occurrence of conjugation, and the extent of the possibility of achieving the vision, in addition to the results received by the committee after the sunset on Tuesday from various national observatories equipped with the latest advanced devices and smart machines.
