Sharjah, May 28 / WAM / The American University of Sharjah and an environment signed an agreement to launch an “environmental innovation and sustainable development” environment professor at the university in a qualitative step that enhances the UAE’s entrepreneurial position in the areas of environmental innovation and sustainability.

The professor who enjoys funded 5 million dirhams of an environment aims to accelerate advanced research and enable future generations of leaders with the tools and knowledge necessary to build a more sustainable future.

The signing ceremony took place on the university campus in the presence of Sheikha Badour Bint Sultan Al Qasimi, President of the American University in Sharjah, Dr. Todd Lorsen, the university director, Khaled Al -Harimel, CEO and Deputy Chairman of the Environment Board of Directors, along with a number of representatives of both sides.
