Mohammed Al Sharqi is witnessing a session "Arabic calligraphy, how is its beauty weave from the roots to the horizons?"

Fujairah on May 28 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, stressed the importance of shedding light on Islamic arts, and highlighting the authentic civilizational features it contains that reflect the richness of Islamic artistic heritage throughout the ages.
This came during the presence of His Highness, in the “Muhammad Bin Hamad Al -Sharqi Council” at the Rumaila Palace, a session entitled: “The Arabic calligraphy, how did it weave its beauty from the roots to the horizons?”
His Highness pointed out that the Fujairah government is interested in developing the arts, sponsoring and renewing the arts, and reviving Islamic arts and its various artistic forms, based on the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, to consolidate its human concepts, aesthetic values and its cultural dimension between generations, and keeping pace with the state’s aspirations and competitive vision in the creative industries and arts sector.
In the lecture, Professor Nassar Mansour, an artist, calligrapher, academic and designer in the field of Islamic arts and coccling manuscripts, and Dr. Fouad Honda, President of the Japanese Association for Arabic Calligraphy.
The lecture highlighted the technical experience of the two calligraphers, Nassar Mansour, Fouad Honda, and the history of Arabic calligraphy from upbringing to the camel formation, and its history in the Middle East and East Asia and reviewed the privacy of the Japanese experience in Arabic calligraphy, and the Arabic calligraphy in the time of modernity and its global horizons.
The spokesperson reviewed their experience in studying and learning Arabic calligraphy and expanding its spread and education in the Arab and Western world and the distinctive position of Arabic calligraphy in various arts and its impact on its history and developments, stressing that it is an advanced and renewed art despite its originality and rooted roots among all the ancient Islamic arts.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Naeaa Al -Tunaiji, Director of the Mohammed bin Hamad Al -Sharqi Council, said that the council is keen to present various topics that enhance the awareness of young people and provide those interested in the fields of all knowledge and cultural value.
The lecture was attended by His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al -Zyoudi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah, and a number of artists, calligraphers and those interested in Islamic arts and Arabic calligraphy from inside and outside Fujairah.
