The Nigeria Government Executive Program recognizes the UAE experience in government work

Dubai, May 30/ WAM/ The government knowledge exchange office in the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs organized a series of visits and academic workshops for employees of the “Executive Leadership of the Nigeria Government” program, to learn about the best pioneering experiences and models in government work in the UAE, within the framework of a dedicated program prepared by the Emirates government to enable affiliates and provide them with the skills and experiences necessary to update government work models.
The “Executive Leadership of the Nigeria Government” program aims to build the capabilities of government leaders and provide them with the best specialized skills, by developing leadership and administrative capabilities, and their participation in the Emirati entrepreneurial success stories and models in the digital transformation in the government, and the foresight of the future and scenario planning, artificial intelligence applications, government, resource management, and government speeds.
The program, which is supervised by experts and specialists from the UAE government, includes cognitive visits to leading government agencies, academic workshops, interviews with 75 Emirati experts, affiliated with ministers, general managers and executives in the ministries and Nigerian government agencies.
Leaders and officials in the UAE government met with employees of the executive leadership program of the Nigeria government, with the aim of informing them of the pioneering models developed by the Emirates government, and had a great impact in improving and modernizing government work, and raising the level of the quality of society’s life.
His Excellency Abdullah Nasser Lootah, Assistant Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Knowledge Exchange, stressed that building capacity and developing empowerment government leaders is an essential axis of the initiatives of the government cognitive exchange office in the UAE, which focuses on stimulating talents and minds and providing government cadres with the skills necessary to contribute to promoting government readiness and supporting the future of future industry.
He said that government leaders who can succeed any government update, and the most important driver to design work models and performance systems that rise to government work and contribute to a positive impact on the life of society, pointing out that the “Executive Leadership of the Nigeria Government” program represents a new station for a constructive positive partnership that continues the UAE and Nigeria governments to develop in various fields.
The cognitive visits and meetings program with officials in the UAE government covered strategic topics, most notably; Organizational and legislative policies, innovation of the future, innovative policies and strategies, competitive journey in the UAE, government performance systems, and the leadership of the future.
The program included several axes, including the role of digital transformation in government work and its impact on developing performance and services, customer experience, future forensic and scenario planning, artificial intelligence applications, in addition to governance and government resource management and speeds.
The series of cognitive visits to employees of the “Executive Leadership of the Nigeria Government” program included the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, the Ministry of Investment, the Government and Future Development Office, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority and the digital government, Dubai Airports, the Mohammed bin Rashid College of Government Administration, Dubai Chambers, Dubai World Ports, Dubai Future Foundation, and the Dubai International Financial Center.
It is noteworthy that the government of the UAE launched the government cognitive exchange program, with the aim of transferring the best government practices and expertise to brotherly and friendly countries, and enhancing cooperation in the areas of government modernization and development.
Since its launch in 2018, the program has succeeded in launching partnerships with dozens of countries around the world, with the aim of building institutional capabilities and developing government performance through exchanging knowledge in the areas of strategic planning, government excellence, and the leadership of government services, in addition to implementing strategic initiatives and building institutional capabilities.
