UAE Pilgrims Affairs Office begins the experimental operation of Mashri and Arafat camps
Makkah Al -Mukarramah, May 31 / WAM / The UAE Pilgrims’ Affairs Office announced the start of the experimental operation of the state camps in Mishairi Mina and Arafat with all its services and facilities by 100%, in preparation for receiving state pilgrims during the current Hajj season.
The office emphasized that the equipment included providing comfort and safety requirements for pilgrims, who number 6228 people, including infrastructure work, advanced air -conditioning systems, subsistence equipment, medical and administrative services facilities, according to the highest approved standards, and that contributes to providing a facilitated and safe pilgrimage.
The field improvements for this year included building a mosque that can accommodate more than 400 pilgrims, in addition to allocating chapels in the Arafa camps, including the finest sound and image systems to transfer a sermon and the Arafa prayer, in addition to preparing all camps with highly efficient air conditioning systems, shading and afforestation of all their corridors with the addition of modern fans equipped with a spray system to alleviate the high temperatures and protect pilgrims from exposure to sunlight.
His Excellency Dr. Omar Habtoor Al -Darai, Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, head of the UAE Pilgrim Affairs Office, stressed the continuation of efforts to provide the appropriate environment for state pilgrims to perform their rituals, explaining that the office ended all the equipment in the camps during record time, and was keen to raise the efficiency of facilities and services; To ensure the provision of a comfortable and safe environment for state pilgrims during their performance of rituals.
He appreciated the close cooperation with the competent authorities in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stressing that the office works within an integrated plan, reflecting the honorable image of the Emirates in caring for its pilgrims, and achieving the highest levels of contentment and safety.
The office continues its field preparations to ensure the flow of promotion and organizing the movement within the feelings, which contributes to providing distinguished services that guarantee the comfort and safety of state pilgrims.
