"Sharjah Consultant" It discusses a draft recommendations on Sharjah International Airport policy
Sharjah, on June 2 / WAM / The Committee for Preparing the Recommendations Project in the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, during its meeting today at the Council’s headquarters, started the results of the 15th session, which was devoted to reviewing the policy of the Sharjah International Airport Authority within the work of the second regular session of the eleventh legislative term.
The committee reviewed the most prominent observations and opinions that were presented during the session and will be built on the final recommendations, and included multiple aspects related to the efficiency of operation and the raising of future absorptive capacity, enhancing regional and international competitiveness of the airport in addition to supporting resettlement in airport jobs, motivating companies working to provide rewarding incentives to support the policies of the private sector and the importance of developing the legislation regulating the work of the authority and looking at the future of transportation Air to keep pace with the expected growth of travel.
Jassim Muhammad Al -Hanawi Al -Naqbi, Chairman of the Committee, said that the committee operates according to a precise methodology based on the constructive opinions and objective recommendations presented during the plenary opinions of the meeting, as well as the in -depth discussions between the members, explaining that the committee is keen to develop these ideas and turn them into implemented recommendations in a way that achieves integration between the legislative and development goals of the council.
He pointed out that the recommendations project will focus on continuing the development of Sharjah International Airport services and raising its operational readiness and infrastructure, within the framework of the expansion witnessed by Sharjah International Airport and enhancing its position as a pivotal strategic facility for the Emirate of Sharjah at the regional and international levels, in line with the ambitious visions and sound directions of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member of the Ruler of Sharjah.
The committee agreed to complete the drafting of the recommendations project permanently in preparation for its presentation in the next session of the Consultative Council for its adoption in a way that contributes to enhancing the quality and efficiency of the services provided through Sharjah Airport and keeps pace with the emirate’s aspirations towards the future.
