Russian competition for the top of the Dubai Chess Chess Championship

Dubai, June 3 / WAM / The great Russian international professor Alexei Grapevin, at the top of the Dubai Open Chess Championship in its twenty -fifth edition, which is hosted by the Dubai Chess and Culture Club, was singled out, with the conclusion of the seventh round of the first category “A” competitions that were held yesterday evening.
Grapevin managed to beat Indian international professor Rohith Krishna, to raise his score to 6 points out of 7 rounds, ahead of a point behind his closest pursuit, his fellow great international professor Evan Zimlinsky, who in turn defeated the first class in the championship, the great Indian international professor Nihal Sirin, so that the latter retreated to 4.5 points only two rounds before the conclusion of the competitions.
In the second category “B”, the Iranian International Federation, Nikokar Mahdi, maintained his lead with 6.5 points, despite his draw for the first time after 6 consecutive victories, in front of the Sri Lankan international Bisndo, who raised his score to 6 points in second place. The Indian international Fendan Al Nakar will participate in the same center, after his victory over the Armenian Bajdiran Davit at the second table.
