"Federal National" And the Brazilian Parliament discussed cooperation

Brazilia, on June 5/ WAM/ His Excellency Dr. Ali Rashid Al -Nuaimi, Chairman of the Defense, Interior and Foreign Affairs Committee of the Federal National Council, met with His Excellency Hugo Motta, Chairman of the House of Representatives in the Federal Republic of Brazil, on the sidelines of participation in the eleventh parliamentary forum of the Brix Group, held in the Brazilian capital, Brazilia.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Sarah Mohamed Flunaz, member of the Federal National Council, and His Excellency Saleh Ahmed Al Suwaidi, UAE Ambassador to Brazil.
During the meeting, ways of enhancing bilateral relations were discussed, and a number of issues of common concern were discussed, and the two sides stressed the importance of developing parliamentary relations, and building on the growing momentum in the strategic partnership between the two countries, which witnessed concrete developments at various levels, especially economic and investment.
His Excellency the President of the Brazilian Parliament welcomed His Excellency Dr. Ali Al -Nuaimi, stressing that the strategic relations between the Brazilian Republic and the UAE are witnessing a remarkable development in light of the interest of the leadership and the two governments of the two countries, praising the participation of the UAE active and positive in the work of the BRICS Group since its official accession to its membership, appreciating its contributions in promoting positive dialogue within the group.
He also stressed the keenness to develop cooperation with the Federal National Council, by activating the Committee of the Joint Parliamentary Friendship, to support the paths of cooperation and partnership between the two sides.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Ali Al -Nuaimi stressed that the UAE considers Brazil a reliable strategic partner within the BRICS group, stressing the importance of cooperation within this international system in a way that serves the common interests of member states, and in a way that enhances the principles of justice, integration and openness.
He pointed out that the Emirati -Brazilian relations are based on firm foundations of confidence and common interests, expressing the UAE’s desire to expand its investments in Brazil in various sectors, especially in the areas of advanced technology, in a way that benefits and prospered on both countries and two friendly peoples.
