"National for women" It organizes a training course to enhance the role of health service providers
Organized by the National Council for Women, a training course & nbsp; To enhance the role of health service providers in university hospitals at the College of Medicine of the Suez Canal University in Ismailia Governorate, in dealing with women who are exposed to violence, in cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund UNFPA, in the presence of Dr. Amal Philip, the health advisor to the unit against violence against women in the council, and Dr. Mona Hamdi, responsible for the health side of the unit, Dr. & nbsp; Michel Youssef, the field coordinator of the unit, along with Dr. Abeer Hajras, the Vice -Dean for Community Affairs and Environmental Development, with the participation of & nbsp; Career providers & nbsp; Health at the Faculty of Medicine in the Unit of Women in the University Hospital. The health, social and psychological complications that women are exposed to, in addition to presenting how to provide their first psychological support, and the national referral path adopted by Egypt in 2019, where Egypt was one of the first countries to adopt the activation of this path between the basic services sectors to support women and girls. His committees and branches in the governorates, as well as the national strategy to empower Egyptian women & nbsp; 2030 with a focus on the protection axis concerned with the strategy of anti -violence against women. Receiving women who are exposed to violence and providing them with medical services, in addition to providing first psychological support & nbsp and activating their referral system inside the hospital or referring to external parties, whether the role of hosting or unification unit of Al -Azhar, as well as providing legal support through the women’s complaints office. Reporting, explaining the various referral authorities, and how to provide a safe environment for women who are exposed to violence.
