Minister of Higher Education: Bridges of Development contributes to linking Egyptian minds to achieve sustainable development

The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology launched the 2024 course of the & quot; Development Bridges & quot; For joint research projects between Egyptian cadres within universities and research centers and Egyptian scientists abroad, based on the vision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to enhance scientific and technological cooperation with all components of the science and innovation system inside and outside Egypt. It reflects the state’s commitment to linking Egyptian minds at home and abroad to serve the sustainable development goals, and to enhance the scientific and economic leadership of Egypt. He explained that investing the energies of our children from national competencies inside and outside Egypt is the way to achieve a qualitative shift in scientific research and technology, which is embodied by these joint research projects. It provides real opportunities to develop scientific research in priority areas for the future of Egypt such as energy, artificial intelligence, and health, stressing that the program creates an integrated research environment that supports innovation and enhances sustainable development. Egyptian universities and research centers, as well as a distinguished participation of Egyptian scientists abroad. After the final evaluation, 12 winning projects were chosen in vital fields that include energy, artificial intelligence, health, medicine, and environmental science.
