The Lebanese athlete decides the position of Al -Ahly youth .. and qualifies for the final of the “Asian Champions Basket”

The Lebanese Sports Team approached an additional step to maintain its title as the champion of the “AFC Champions League” basketball, by beating Al-Ahly youth with a result (100-78), in a match they gathered today, Thursday, at the “Coca-Cola Arena” hall in the semi-final of the second edition of the tournament hosted by Dubai, since the seventh of this month, and the curtain will be closed tomorrow.

The athlete struck by winning a date at eight in the evening tomorrow with the Japanese “Autsonomia Brix” team, after the latter in turn succeeded in overcoming the semi-finals, by excluding the surprise of the Mongolian “Brankose” team, and winning it with a score of (93-71).

The final match will be preceded by the third and fourth place meeting, which is gathered in the fifth of this afternoon, between the Al -Ahly youth teams and the Mongolian “Brunkose” teams.

The Lebanese athlete knew how to overcome the obstacle of Al-Ahly youth, after the Al-Beiruti team players tightened their grip on the course of the first half and resolved the first and second quarters in their favor by (20-18 and 29-22).

With the start of the second half, the youth of Al-Ahly pressed and its players succeeded in reducing the difference by obtaining the preference with the result of the third quarter (25-24), but the experiences of the Asian champion were enough to restore the athlete for his balance and resolve the fourth quarter (27-13), and win the match and cross for the second year in a row to the final of the tournament.
