The head of the state and the Russian president are discussing the ways to contain the escalation in the region

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation today, during a phone call – discussed the strategic partnership relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in the interest of their people.

His Highness the President of the State and the Russian President also reviewed the developments of the situation in the Middle East region and its serious repercussions on security and stability in the region and the world … in addition to the efforts made to contain the situation and put an end to escalation.

During the call, the two sides stressed the necessity of restraint and invoking the dialogue to avoid exposing regional and global security to more threats, stressing to support everything that would achieve calm through diplomatic means.
