The island returns handball activity to its team games

The Handball Federation announced that it received an official letter from Al-Jazira Club stating that the game’s activity resumed inside the club, by participating in the Federation’s competitions for the sports season 2025-2026, at the level of the categories of the Sunni stages (Cubs-young-buds).

Al-Jazira Club announced, before the start of last season (2024-2025), that the handball activity was stopped at the level of the men and youth teams, before the suspension decision later extended to all the teams of the Sunni stages.

It is noteworthy that the Handball Federation had announced yesterday the system of its competitions for the new season, which is limited to the participation of clubs: Sharjah, Al -Ahly, Maliha, Al -Nasr, Dibba Al -Hosn, Al -Wasl, and Al -Wahda in the men’s category competitions, in addition to the youth team who will participate in the league shield championship during one of three rounds.

In the youth category, participation is limited to clubs: Sharjah, Al -Wasl, Al -Battah, Al -Nasr, along with the junior team that will participate in the general league only.
