Al -Wahda Club contracts with Portuguese coach Morais

Al -Wahda Football Club announced its contract with Portuguese coach Jose Morais to take over the training of “Al -Annabi” starting next season.

Morais will succeed the Slovenian coach Darko Milan, who led the team last season.

Morais has a great friendship with legend Jose Mourinho, and he worked with him in three clubs.

The coach born in Angola has great training experiences, most notably his work as an assistant to Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho in training Inter Milan clubs, Real Madrid and Chelsea, and he also took over many Arab clubs, which are youth, firmness, crescent in Saudi Arabia, and Tunisian Esperance.

Morais achieved six titles throughout his training career, which is the South Korean League twice with Chaunbuk Hyundai in 2019 and 2020, the South Korean Cup title with the same team in 2020, won the Saudi League title with Al Hilal in 2021, the Saudi Super Cup with Al Shabab in 2015, and finally the Iran Cup with Cibahan in 2024.
