The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration meets a group of Turkish businessmen during his visit to Istanbul

In the framework of efforts to enhance Turkish investments in Egypt, Dr. Bader Abdel -Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, on Friday, with a group of Turkish businessmen, on the sidelines of his visit to Istanbul to participate in the ministerial meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. He pointed out that the total volume of trade exchange between the two countries reached nearly 9 billion dollars in 2024, and Turkey became one of the important external destinations for Egyptian exports, and Egypt also formed one of the important destinations in Africa for Turkish exports. The Minister of Foreign Affairs highlighted the importance of joint work from all sides in the two countries and the solidarity of the efforts of joint business councils to reach the volume of trade exchange between the two countries to 15 billion dollars, which was agreed upon between the two political leaderships in the two countries to achieve more integration and economic integration that is in the interest of the two countries. The desired trade exchange, reviewing the possibility of expanding the areas of agreement and removing obstacles to increasing trade exchange between Egypt and Turkey. In the economic zone of the Suez Canal, noting the benefits and facilities granted to investors, and attention to the settlement of any obstacles that Turkish investments in Egypt may face, indicating this by the decision of the Prime Minister to form a special unit to support Turkish investments in Egypt.
