A delegation from the Sharjah government views the system of managing dangerous materials in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, June 23 / WAM / A delegation from the Sharjah government briefed on the integrated work system for managing dangerous materials in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

This came during a meeting of His Excellency Khalfan Abdullah Al -Mansoori, General Manager of the Abu Dhabi Center for Management of Periodic Materials in the delegation of the Sharjah government headed by His Excellency Brigadier Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al -Naour, where ways of cooperation and exchange of best practices were discussed between government agencies.

During the meeting, the center reviewed its operational and administrative systems, the efforts made to develop legislative and legal frameworks and public policies related to managing dangerous materials, in a manner that ensures the integration and coordination of efforts between the federal and local bodies, and the compliance with the relevant international standards and agreements.

The regulatory frameworks, standards and operational procedures for circulating dangerous materials were highlighted, determining the roles and responsibilities between the various concerned authorities, to ensure the highest levels of effectiveness and efficiency in dealing with dangerous materials and a presentation of the most prominent projects that the Abu Dhabi Center for Management of Percentrals, which aims to enhance safe dealing with dangerous materials, and the development of smart systems that support the monitoring and control process.

The Acting Director General of the Abu Dhabi Center for Management of Periodic Materials said that the system of managing dangerous materials in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi represents an integrated model based on clear legislative and legal frameworks, aimed at protecting lives and property and promoting environmental sustainability.
