653 companies attracted "Dubai South"During 2025

Dubai, January 29 / WAM / Dubai South attracted 653 companies in 2025, bringing the number of operating companies to more than 4,200 companies, while recording a retention rate of 90% of existing companies, in a clear indication of the sustainability of growth.

New commercial licenses also witnessed a remarkable growth of 65% compared to the previous year, which reflects the expansion of economic activity and the diversification of sectors within the Dubai South system.

In terms of the real estate sector, Dubai South Real Estate Company completed the delivery of the “Pulse Beach” project, which includes 800 residential units, in 2025, in a step that enhances the residential supply in the region.

Looking ahead to 2026, approximately 1,300 residential units are scheduled to be delivered within the “South Bay” and “South Living” projects.

Last year also witnessed the launch of a number of residential projects, including “Hayat”, “Beach Gates” and “South Square”, which achieved strong demand and reached the complete sale stage, reflecting the growing demand for integrated communities in Dubai South.

Dubai South Properties also unveiled “South Bay Mall,” the first shopping and entertainment destination in the residential area, with an area of ​​200,000 square feet, to be a qualitative addition that provides experiences that combine shopping, dining, and luxury.

The Logistics District in Dubai South continued its strong performance during 2025, with the opening of major facilities for a number of international companies, including Expediters, the Ford Spare Parts Distribution Center, and the DHL Innovation Center.

The year also witnessed the signing of strategic agreements with international companies such as DHL and UPS, to support the expansion of their operations through advanced facilities that meet the requirements of regional and global markets.

In direct support for small and medium-sized companies, Dubai South launched multi-user facilities, providing flexible infrastructure and strategic locations that support growth and expansion.

On the other hand, EZ Dubai, the area entirely dedicated to e-commerce in Dubai South, continued its role in supporting the e-commerce system in the country and the region, in parallel with the growth of the UAE e-commerce market to reach 32.3 billion dirhams in 2024, according to the latest report issued by EZ Dubai.

On the other hand, the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project witnessed a year full of achievements, with the signing of strategic agreements with an elite group of international companies, including the “Avia Solutions” group, the largest global provider of aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance services, “Atheron Aerospace”, UUDS, Tariq Al Futtaim Group, and Al Burj Holding.

The year also witnessed the opening of new facilities for companies such as Satis, Team Aerospace, and RH Aero, in addition to GE Aerospace’s announcement of laying the foundation stone for a facility dedicated to maintenance and technical support services for aircraft within the project.

To meet the growing demand for aviation services, the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project announced the launch of new facilities, most notably the “Aircraft Maintenance Services Complex” and the “Private Aviation Boulevard,” an advanced destination that aims to attract the most prominent international airlines and luxury retail brands.

Nabil Al Kindi, Executive Director of Dubai South, confirmed that the results of 2025 reflect the strength of the integrated system that characterizes Dubai South, and the company’s commitment to supporting the growth of the aviation, logistics and real estate sectors.

He explained that attracting new international companies, in addition to maintaining high rates of stability of operating companies, reflects the level of confidence enjoyed by Dubai South as a strategic business destination.

He pointed out that the next phase will witness a continued focus on developing world-class infrastructure and enabling sustainable growth, to contribute to supporting the vision of our wise leadership to enhance Dubai’s position as a global economic and aviation center.
