Basketball Federation elections next August 24
Dubai, June 26 / WAM / The Electoral Committee of the Emirates Basketball Federation has set next August 24 as a date for the elections of the Federation’s Board of Directors for the 2025-2028 electoral session, during its meeting chaired by Counselor Badr Al Hammadi.
It was decided to open the door for candidacy for the position of President of the Federation during the period from June 30 to July 3, provided that the committee begins studying applications during the period from 4 to 17 July, followed by the announcement of the list approved for the presidential candidates on July 18, and opened the door for objections from 19 to 22 of the same month.
As for the candidacy for the membership of the Board of Directors, it will be available during the period from July 23 to the first of August, with the candidacy requests to be studied from August 2 to 15, and the announcement of the approved list for the candidates on August 16, while the final lists will be issued on August 18.
The official invitations will be made to attend the electoral meeting scheduled for next August 24, to choose the new board of directors that will lead the federation during the next session.
